One headlight stopped working, other side is fine
Driver side headlight just went out, passenger side still works fine. Freightliner Cascadia. Is this just a bulb or could it be something else?

Good news is a single side going out (while the other stays fine) is most commonly just the bulb — if it were a shared fuse or relay issue, you'd usually see both sides affected together. Start by swapping the bulb itself, that fixes the large majority of one-sided headlight failures. If the new bulb also doesn't light up, then it's worth checking the connector for corrosion before assuming it's electrical further upstream.
Swapped the bulb and it works now. Way easier than I expected, thanks.
